I have a great idea to reduce the trolls and toxic players in game by introducing 30 minutes ban, one hour ban and so on. Please support if you like my idea

The punishment system right now is not allowing players to join rank only if their credit score is below 90. This is only affecting AFK players who leave the game midway for whatever reason

But trolls, toxic players and intentional feeders are not punished severely even if we report them. Even if they are punished, they only lose 8 or 9 credit scores and banned from matchmaking for 5 minutes

Trolls are mostly non-expert heroes. If a player picks non-expert hero in rank and gets 3.0 to 3.5 score, reduce their credit score by 12 points and ban them from rank for 30+ minutes instead of 5 minutes. Double the ban time if they troll again in rank. Since classic is a good place to practice heroes, this punishment should not be applicable in classic mode

Toxic players use profanity and steal buff from teammates. Unfortunately there is no way for the system to identify buff stealing but profanity can be identified. Players using profanity will lose 12 credit score and ban from both Rank and Classic matches for 30 minutes. Many kids are playing this game so profanity should be a punishable offense in both classic and rank games. Double the ban time if they use profanity again within three days

What do you guys think about my suggestion for the punishment system ?

1) Nobody report toxic players or trolls. All those people just taking shit and talking all game: report him, report for this, report for that and when battle ends, they just quit and don't report. That's called HYPOCRISY. Because nobody report trolls, they do whatever they want and number of trolls is getting bigger every day. I played thousands of games where it was so obvious from draft and through whole battle that someone is intentionally trolling, he was obvious reason of defeat, getting bronze and didn't get any punishment because nobody reported him/her.

2) Huge number of trolls are not stupid. They know what to do so they don't get bronze medal. Example: Troll will intentionally pick 2nd jungler, will steal many buffs and creeps, will hide all game, sometimes clean lane and will wait for ez low hp kills after team fight. He will finish with KDA 3-1-2 and will go out without any punishment.

3) Profanity system detection is disaster. You can't write HANABI and some words, you can't right FLAMESHOT with some words, you can't write ODETTE with some words, you can't write HANZO and some words and I got many profanity bans for some normal senteces without any profanity.

4) Don't swear because of childern who play? LOL what a joke. It is those children who swear most. You will rarely see adult person who swear like trash.

I suggested doubling the ban time so a player will not repeat toxic behavior continuously.

We can give a warning for the first time instead of banning them. If they repeat toxic behavior within three days, their ban time will increase exponentially

My suggestions only apply to Legend and Mythic rank players. Low rank players who are learning the game will not be punished or banned.

I agree with you but some people will leave the game if they are banned for 24 hours. This is the main reason MLBB is not implementing very strict punishment system. They want to retain their player base.

The problem I think is detecting trolls because I don't think the system has done a great job in detecting people who are actually trolling and throwing the game. Even if I report them, they just check the data to "see" if the person deserves to be punished.

Although this suggestion would be nice, I don't know if it would be implemented, how would it affect others if the system couldn't really detect trolls.

I think you are mentioning about trolls who pick expert heroes and become MVP of the losing side or get gold medal. If they played well, there is no way for the system to identify them as trolls

But if the trolls are picking non expert heroes and get bronze medal with a score of 3.0 to 3.5, the system can identify them. In my opinion they should be punished

If this is implemented, trolling in rank will be greatly reduced

I think they should hire in-game moderators to do an overwatch and based on it the reported player will be punished.
I know this will require a lot of effort and time to make it, but it's worth it and will take this game to a whole new competitive level.

The problem is they will receive thousands of reports everyday. It is very expensive to
appoint in-game moderators and handle the submitted report manually.

If expenses are not a problem, then it will be a good idea

For toxic players I think it's better for them to have 24 hrs ban, because 30 mins. is not enough, they'll just wait a bit, probably do something else, then do it again. Doubling ban time is pretty good though, 30 mins additional time should be enough.

Profanity punishment should be taken more seriously because a lot of kids play this game.

Admittedly, there's still flaw in the system and despite reducing the number of possible trolls/toxic players by a margin, it will still stay at the same number due to the fact that at some point, a player will troll or be toxic because of many reasons.

I believe some of your ideas were already implemented? Such as not being able to choose a hero that you haven't play for x number of matches. The ban is good too provided that it's reasonable. There's really a wide spectrum in this issue, hopefully we'll be able to minimize and mitigate it in due time. But nevertheless, devs are constantly updating the punishment and report system, optimize them and make it effective each patch.

I think in-game moderators is a really hard no for me, the fact that there's a lot of players in the game, it'll really be hassle, unless, they're only to observe players that have grave offenses or multiple offenses already.

I agree with everything you said but I believe things will change once my suggestion for punishment system is implemented

1) Nobody is reporting because the punishment is not punishing anyone right now. It is like they lost their confidence in the punishment system. After implementing my suggestions, the system will start to punish trolls and toxic players automatically without any report submitted by the user. It will boost their confidence on the system and they will start reporting

2) Troll players with good scores, buff stealers and intentional feeders are hard to identify by the system. So they are likely to evade punishment. On the other hand trolls with low score cannot escape the ban and punishment

3) I agree with you, the profanity detection system definitely needs improvement.

4) Once you start banning players for profanity, they have no choice but to remain silent whether they are adults or children

I believe my suggestion will bring a great change to this game if implemented correctly.

Please support it if you like it
