Vale Guide

Story:
"Valir, my beloved brother. You lost everything the day we made The Pact. I'll see to it that the Fire Kingdom restores everything to the way it once was. Even if you still wish to avenge your cruel father, I do not blame you as long as you can cast away the storm within your heart. Nothing is as important as your happiness, not even my life ".

Vale fell into deep contemplation as he wrote his letter to Valir. Those first few lines brought Vale back to the days of his youth, when he and Valir were the closest of friends. As Vale fell further into nostalgia, he remembered the day they met at a royal party. Ever since then, they both had been feeling a strong affinity towards each other's magic.

For a long time, Vale and Valir were inseparable. Together, they left many memories in the Valley of the Winds, the Fire Kingdom, and many other exotic lands. When unrest flooded the Fire Kingdom, Valir quickly made his leave - Only Vale knew exactly how much Valir sacrificed that day.

As time went on, the day of The Pact was coming soon. Vale's magical abilities to control winds had grown more sophisticated over the years. In fact, he was the only member of his family who could change the winds with magic. Yet, Vale had never shown his magic to anyone before. Vale waited and waited for the day of The Pact to come.

On that day, he would put on a spectacular display of wind magic, for the boy who is like fire. Vale believes that Valir will use his splendorous time of their youth.

Each time Vale gets a kill or an assist, he will gain a stack of Windtalk (up to 10 stacks). Vale gets 8 points of movement speed for each Windtalk stack. Vale can attain a maximum of 80 points of movement speed when Windtalk reaches max stacks.

Windtalk: Vale can choose to increase the area of effect of Windblade or increase the damage of Windblade.

Wind Blade: Scatter (area of effect option)
The width of the two windblades' area of effect is increased significantly. The cooldown of this skill will also be set to 4 seconds.

Merely increases the width of the visual effect and not the actual area of effect.

Wind Blade: Sorrow (damage increase option)
The two windblades' damage is increased to 300 / 350 / 400 / 450 / 500 / 550 (+100% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage with the maximum damage of 600 / 700 / 800 / 900 / 1000 / 1100 (+200% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to a single target.

Also increases the speed of the wind blades.

Windtalk: Vale can choose to add a crowd control effect to Windblow or increase the damage of Windblow.

Windblow: Control (crowd control effect option)
Hitting Windblow will cause enemies to be knocked-up for 1 second.

Windblow: Fix (damage increase option)
Hitting Windblow on enemies or monsters will spawn additional whirlwinds at their place for 2 seconds, slowing them by 40% and dealing 150 / 165 / 180 / 195 / 210 / 225 (+20% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage that can continuously hit the enemy for up to 5 times.

Windtalk: Vale can choose to add a crowd control effect to Windstorm or increase the damage of Windstorm.

Windstorm: Gather (crowd control effect option)
For 2 seconds, the Windstorm will continuously pull and draw enemies towards the center of its eye before exploding.

Windstorm: Death (damage increase option)
After 1.5 seconds, the Windstorm will explode and deal 1200 / 1500 / 1800 (+240% Total Magic Power) and decrease the Magic Defense of enemies by 15 points.

Combo:
The most basic combo is Wind Blow (2nd Skill), Windstorm (Ultimate), and Wind Blade (1st Skill) in that order.

  

Notes:

When Vale hit level 4, level up his ultimate and use Windstorm: Death (Damage Increase Option)
When Vale hits level 6, level up his second skill and use Wind Blow: Control (Crowd Control Option)
When Vale hits level 8, level up his first skill and use Wind Blade: Sorrow (Damage Increase Option)

I wouldn't recommend using Windstorm: Gather because essentially, you would be setting yourself as a support that way because your damage would be lower.
Wind Blow: Fix could be used if you made some changes to your equipment to add Ice Queen Wand and I have tried it before and it was pretty good, why? Because without Ice Queen Wand, it would be easier for enemy heroes to escape if you don't have any CC.
I don't think I need to explain why you shouldn't use Wind Blade: Scatter because it does not give you any CC and it does not give you any damage and thus it should never been used.
