Currently, Blade Armor is a very weak item. Lets see how we can improve it.

Original
+90 Physical Defense
Unique Passive: Deals 25% of opponent's Physical Attack as Physical Damage to an attacker when a basic attack is received.
Components = Leather Jerkin (18 Physical Defense) + Leather Jerkin (18 Physical Defense) + Leather Jerkin (18 Physical Defense) + 1000 gold = 1660 gold

Revamp
+700 HP
+90 Physical Defense
Unique Passive: Deals 35% of opponent's Physical Attack as Physical Damage to an attacker when a basic attack is received.
Components = Spike Armor* + Leather Jerkin (18 Physical Defense) + Leather Jerkin (18 Physical Defense) + 700 gold = 2260 gold


*Spike Armor (New Item)
+250 HP
+20 Physical Defense
Unique Passive: Deals 25% of opponent's Physical Attack as Physical Damage to an attacker when a basic attack is received.

Components = Vitality Crystal (230 HP) + Leather Jerkin (18 Physical Defense) + 600 gold = 1120 gold

its pretty good idea, just like physical equipment that has normal & advanced items (deadly blade & sea halberd), and your idea is similar to them which would be better if blade armor is an advanced item of spike armor

Thank you for suggesting this as I have long felt that Blade Armor is weak. In fact, all physical defence items except immortality is sort of weak

Love the suggestion! It did feel like Blade Armor was rather weak and needed a revamp. However, I have to agree with what another user said, Spike Armor feels a little overpowered for a component item.

I agree blade armor is sitting in shop and none buying that popo unless there is kimmy or there dps mm and still its missed his situational type.

i think blade armor needs buff, but i dont think it needs HP.
blade armor should be high armor and no HP.
maybe change it from 90 to 110 Armor.
change the effect from 25% to 35%

Thanks for the positive feedback guys.

Amended my suggestion a bit:
- HP of revamp BA from 750 decreased to 700
- Phy Def of revamp BA from 80 increased to 90
- Recipe cost of revamp BA from 600 increased to 700 (but total cost remains as Spike Armor become cheaper)
- Spike Armor HP decreased from 300 to 250
- Spike Armor Phy Def decreased from 25 to 20
- Spike Armor recipe cost decreased from 700 to 600

Now Spike Armor is more balanced.

Blade Armor I believe need HP to be more useful, as the user has to take damage to return the damage. Therefore the more HP the user has, the better the effect of the passive would be. Also HP will help against magic damage as well, making it more rounded.

Also the reason I purposely make Spike Armor a combination of HP and armor is due to currently there isnt such an item.
- Phy Def + Phy Def = Dreadnaught Armor (for Antique Cuirass)
- Phy Def + mana = Black Ice Shield (for Dominance Ice)
- HP + Magic Def = Silence Robe (for Oracle and Anthena Shield)
- Phy Def + HP = Spike Armor (for Blade Armor), perfect =)
