Issue
MLBB resource download stuck at 23%. Issue has been present for 2 weeks now.

Steps to reproduce
1. Download MLBB from Play Store
2. Open MLBB
3. Login to Play Games account
4. MLBB starts downloading game resources
5. Game resources stop downloading at 23% (download speed indicator freezes at whatever speed it was on)

Fix attempts
1. I've tried reinstalling the MLBB

2. I've tried clearing cache/app data/restarting MLBB
3. I've tried reinstalling my device operating system
4. I've tried different operating systems
5. I've tried downloading on both stable wi-fi and mobile connections
6. I've tried altering storage permissions for MLBB
7. Contacting in-game support. I was told to email them via the supplied email, however it's been 2 weeks and I've not received a response for 3 attempts now.

Device: OnePlus 6
OS: Oxygen OS
OS Version: 10.3.5
MLBB Account ID/Server ID/Game Version: 37217711 (2208) - 1.5.16.5612

I need your server ID and game version as well. Can you also give us some proof, screenshots of how it is stuck at 23%

OP updated with requested information.

Notice my username in-game is also JAMET KUPROY with a flag I don't recognise.
Until recently, my username was "jslawler", with the Australian flag. I'm not sure what has happened there, however I tried to contact MLBB for that as well, and got no response.

I think you got hacked by someone. Please go to your profile then -> account -> account center and disconnect any third party accounts and change your moonton account password. Also click on sign out all devices, if you have that option. About the name change and country flag change, I can't do anything about that. Please contact customer service in-game or contact MobileLegendsGame@gmail.com. I'd recommend contacting them via in-game customer service. I have contacted them regarding other stuff before and they respond back like within 3-7 days to me.

Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately I'm not able to disconnect the Apple Game Centre account due to needing an iPhone to do so, however I've done as you've suggested for all other accounts.
It's beyond me why someone would want to use my casual gaming account I use to take a break from work.... but here we are. :)

I'll give contacting them a shot (again), however my history with contacting MLBB hasn't been very successful so far.

Can you comment on the original issue at all?

I don't know if the problem can be fixed. Have you tried redownloading the app?

Yes - See first resolution attempt in OP.

I've also tried it on 2 other devices since, that have the same issue. All seem to stop at 23%.


Issue fixed.

Local DNS resolver was blocking MLBB downloading resources.
Anyone reading this in future, whitelist MLBB until the game has updated completely.
