Turrets are the phase objectives of the game, consist of 3 in a lane meaning there are a total of 9 for each respective teams.

The basic knowledge of this is that the first defending turret must be destroyed in order for the second and third to be available. Once the third turret is destroyed, the base is available to attack and gain victory.

However, even until the Mythic tier, many players are still oblivious on the fundamentals of turret mechanics. Everyone knows the turret hits hard and it increases as you receive more and more hits within its range. Which is why I'll share my tips where even a Tank can simply push turrets with other people desperately hitting you.

You Should Know
Turrets only target you when you damage any enemy heroes within its range, it will keep hitting the same target until he/she gets out of the turret's range.

If there are more than one hero attacking the turret, the first person attacking the enemy hero within turret range will be targeted, if he/she gets out. As long as minions are alive and the other ally didn't attack the enemy hero once the targeted is out, he/she will not be targeted.

This is good for those who are more focused in taking objectives. As I've stated, even Tanks can easily push turrets as long as they ignore the defenders. If the defenders were to kill the minions first, then it's not recommendable to wait for the next wave to come

Controlling turret aggro also works for heroes with ally CC/enemy CC. If you have more than one ballistas attacking the turret you can use Jawhead to throw the low HP ballista so the turret can target the healthy ones. That way more damage can be done.

As for enemy CCs, ensuring the minions hit fully on the turrets, either Kill quickly or push away the enemy minions out of the turret range. Enemies that has good stuns are not something to worry about as the turrets will not hurt you as long as you don't hurt the heroes within range. That is unless he/she kills the minions then proceed to stun you the moment the turret changes target.

@Yunozaki

Very good and vital information I must say. Most of us have ingrained this subconsciously into our minds due to our experiences, so we didn't really notice how viable and valuable the knowledge and information that you've typed out actually are.

Thank you for highlighting this for all to see

There's also another "trick" where you can tank the last turret shot for your teammate so that he actually doesn't die from the increased last turret hit before he stepped out of range. I'm not exactly sure how to explain this but basically you can step into the turret range around the same time as when he exit the turret. This way you would actually catch the shot for him, which can potentially save him from getting executed.

Thanks a lot for sharing this guides with us. To be honest you are absolutely right. Many mythic players do not know about turret properly. And i am one of them. Again thanks for the guide.
