[New Mode:Magic Chess]

1. Magic Chess is an Arcade Mode that is full of fun and strategy! In this mode, 8 players will be distributed into 8 maps and confront with each other and with creeps. Players can buy heroes from the shop, build their own lineup, loot golds, and enhance their troops to get to the victory.

2. Players will play against each other in each round. Players can deploy the heroes to the battlefield on the map, and the heroes on the battlefield will automatically find and attack nearby enemies.

3. Add the concept of the Commander. Harper is the default Commander for all players. When the HP of the Commander is lower than 0, the Commander is eliminated from the game.

4. Definition of "Round": A round contains 4 phases: the preparation phase, the "get ready" phase, the battle phase and the resolving phase. The preparation phase is for players to buy, deploy, recall or sell Heroes and upgrade the capacity. When the battle phase ends, Commanders will receive relative damage based on how many enemy hero units are surviving in the battlefield.

5. Definition of "Gold" & "Capacity": At the end of each round, players will get a certain amount of Gold and Interest. (For every 10 golds owned, get extra 2 golds.) Additionally, getting winning or losing streaks will also grant an extra Gold bonus. Capacity decides how many Heroes you can deploy. The maximum is 9. At the end of each round, you will get 2 EXP. Also, you can choose to buy Exp with Golds. The chance to get elite Heroes scales with the level of the Capacity, at the same time, the chance to get common Heroes decays with it.

6. Hero Level & Star: There are 5 levels for Heroes, which indicate the rarity and the cost of them. Generally speaking, high-level Heroes should be more powerful. If there're 3 same Heroes on the battlefield, they will upgrade into a higher-level Hero. Three 1-star Heroes will upgrade into a 2-star Hero. Three 2-star Heroes will upgrade into a 3-star Hero.

7. Synergy: Every Hero has 2 attributes, Faction & Role. The synergy effect will be activated if there are enough Heroes with the same attributes on the battlefield. (Same Heroes' attributes will be counted once only.) It is important to take synergy into consideration!

8. Notice:

A. Player must be Lv. 5 or above and have more than a 90 Credit Score to enter this mode.

B. To play this mode, players must download all the additional resources.

C. In this mode, players can get chest points, EXP and BP as usual.

D. Data in this mode will be accumulated to unlock exclusive achievements. And the data will only be recorded in Profile and Magic Chess Leaderboards.

1. Gord's new skin "No.1 Controller" will be available at 00:00, on December 1 (Server Time). Diamond 1089.

2. Dyrroth's Starlight Member Skin "Ruins Scavenger" will be available at 00:00, on December 1 (Server Time).

[New Heroes]

1. Cecilion, Embrace of Night is coming to the Advanced Server as a free hero (Limited). Unavailable for purchasing.

Hero Specialty:

Carmilla's boyfriend. He will gain the extra special skill when appearing with Carmilla


Skill 1 - [Bat Impact]: Cecilion orders a giant bat to dive in a designated direction, dealing Magic Damage to enemies on the path. The giant bat will stay at its destination and launch another attack, dealing the same damage to enemies. Every time Cecilion casts this skill, the mana cost will be increased.

Skill 2 - [Sanguine Claws]: Cecilion summons a pair of claws in a designated position that will run to each other, dealing Magic Damage to enemies on the path, pulling them to where the claws meet and immobilizing them. Meanwhile, increases his Movement Speed for a period of time.

Ultimate - [Bats Feast]: Cecilion awakens his Blood Demon power, increasing his Movement Speed and gaining the immunity against slowdown debuff. Meanwhile, he releases bats around him that will attack enemies nearby automatically, each bat dealing Magic Damage and slowing the enemies. Each time the bat hit a target, Cecilion restores HP for a certain number. Passive - [Overflowing]: Cecilion will increase his max mans each time his skill hits an enemy target. Cecilion's skill damage scales with his max mana.

Special Skill - [Moonlit Waltz]: When Carmilla is nearby, Cecilion can call her to become a Vermeil Shadow around him, providing shield. Carmilla can select a target place and land on there, dealing Magic Damage to enemies within the area of effect, and slowing them.

[Hero Adjustments]


Sanguine Bats: Damage each time increased 50 at all levels. HP Regen when touching the target each time adjusted from 30-50 to 45-70. Magic Bonus Regen increased from 10% to 25%.

Bloodbath: Magic Bonus of the damage increased from 80% to 120%.


Spiral Strangling: Flicker can be cast when using this skill.

Imperial Justice: Now this skill will not knock targets back but deal AoE damage and slow targets down. Optimized the display effects of her skills.


Flower of Life: Now when Belerick takes 50 damage instead of 100 damage, the Passive will be triggered. The minimum interval for rebounding damage increased from 0.2s to 0.5s. The damage boosted by his HP decreased from 2% to 1.5%. Now when the targets hit by his skills except Passive, they will be taunted for 0.5s.

Nature's Strike: Basic Damage adjusted from 400-600 to 300-450. Mana Cost adjusted from 50-75 to 80-130. Nature's Shield: The immobilizing duration increased from 1.5s to 2s. Ancient Strength: The ATK Speed increased by each 1% HP lost decreased from 1.2% to 1%. Extra Physical Lifesteal gained by the last HP bar decreased from 20% to 10%. Decreased the speed of her Energy Regen.


Baxia-Shield Unity: The duration of stunning adjusted from 0.75s/1.5s to 1s/2s.

Shield of Spirit: Increased the width of this skill.

Tortoise's Puissance: Now this Ultimate will deal damage to targets with 30% Slowing Effect. Lasts 0.5s.


Basic ATK increased from 125 to 130. ATK Growth of each level decreased from 10.25 to 8.25.
Defiant Sword: Mana Cost adjusted from 40-30 to 35 at all levels.


Optimized the skill animation.


Force Swing: The CD adjusted to 6s at all levels.


ATK Speed Growth decreased from 2% to 1.5%. ATK Speed gained from Equipment and Emblems decreased from 100% to 80%.


Basic HP decreased from 2609 to 2459.

1. Optimized the display of "Cancel Cast" in Controls.

2. [Observation Turtle]

Now there will be an Observation Grass which cannot be attacked following the slayer. The grass will regenerate HP and Mana to allied units around. The allied Minions will regenerate more. It will disappear after a period of time.

3. [Core Guard]

The Physical and Magic Defense scale with game time.

4. [Statued Shocker]

The Physical Defense scale with game time.

Purple buff: Energy Cost decreased adjusted from >20% to25%. Mana Cost decreased adjusted from 50% to 40%.

5. [Equipment Items]

The damage dealt by Tier 2 Jungling Equipment increased from 30% to 35%.

The damage dealt by Tier 3 Jungling Equipment increased from 40% to 50%.

6. [Battle Spells]

Revitalize: The Healing Effect decreased from 3.2% to 2.8%.

Flameshot: The Slowing Effect increased from 30% to 60%. The duration increased from 1s to 2s.

Arrival: The duration of Movement Bonus decreased from 5s to 3s. The Slowing Effect to enemies decreased from 60% to 45%.

Vengeance: HP Regen after this spell ended would be increased to 50% of the damage instead of 35%.

7. [Turtle and Lord]

The refresh time of the Turtle adjusted from 2 minutes to 3 minutes after the start of the game; The refresh time of the Lord was also delayed by 1 minute accordingly.

8. [Others]

9. Added [Hurricane Ward]

2. New rules for Mythic rank:

A. When the Mythic Points is lower than 1 point, players will go back to the Division of Legend I, 3 stars.

B. After the players fall back to the Legend and rise to the Mythic again, they will obtain 30 points and no need to finish Placement Matches again.

1. Now tasks of battle and activity points in Daily Quests, Starlight Quests, and Collection Tasks can be completed in CHESS-TD and Magic Chess mode.
