We all are talking about loading speed and quality graphics of speedy version. But nobody mentioned anything about new network detection tools.
This is more elaborated than before.
It has ms indicator on the top left corner as speedometer type gauge. in the middle it will show your ping after analyzing it properly.
We can also see network type, signal strength and network delay information on the top right corner.
Whats new is Below.

Resindential Broadband delay.
This is the delay time in mili seconds from your home to your ISP(Internet service provider). This will add to total ms.

Current wifi workload
Meaning how many devices are currently attached with your wifi router. More meaning higher ping. Because they all are downloading or using internet at the same time.

Router Delay.
This is router response time. This is ping between your mobile device and router. This will also add to total ms.

Suppose your ping is 53.7 ms. Your residential broadband delay is 2.05 ms and your router delay is 1.53 ms.
So actual ping is 53.7-(2.05+1.53)=50.12 ms. The rest is your broadband delay and your router delay.

So what do we learn from this?
Speed is not important in ping situation.
A fiber optic line will have lesser broadband delay compare to other medium.
Router with 5ghz frequency will have less router delay than 2.4 ghz frequency.
These will impact on your overall ping ms.
This is only for wifi or broadband situation.

For mobile data connection, it will show network type as 3g or 4g or 5g.
And it will only show router delay below.
as it shown in picture, ping is 82.6 where router delay is 16.2 ms
So my real ping is 82.6-16.2=66.4 ms. The Router Delay is the main reason why my ping is higher than wifi.
MLBB has nothing to do with it.

You can test for yourselves before blaming mlbb first.
I am not saying that i am 100% correct or there is no server maintence or any other causes.
But this will clear most of the cases with ping or lag issue.
Thanks MLBB for providing such rich tool to check our wifi and mobile network.

Thanks for sharing.. and I also appreciate the devs for improving this feature ... I often use it before playing a match ... its very helpful for them to know the condition of network before playing the game

Finally I can understand this thingy.

Feels rigged to blame the delay on your router...

I did a couple rounds of tests... the in-game network detection tool occassionally shows 90+ ms delay to my router, but the traceroute results from a separate app never showed a delay of more than 25ms...

Very informative. Also thanks for elaborating on the calculation parts.
Now I have more understanding of ping.

My game UI doesn’t have this?
Do I need to enable some setting to make this show up?
