i recently just reached legend, but unlike others I don’t mind when there are grandmasters in draft pick. is it something that you really shouldn’t do?
when i was in epic i’ve encountered many great grandmasters, so is it really wrong to play w/ them? some people get so toxic and go afk just be there is a gm.
i do understand that there is a chance a gm can be paired with a mythic (which is truly the matchmaking’s fault because even epics shouldn’t be paired with mythics)
which is why it might be wrong to do so. but as an epic it says you can team up with “grandmasters/epics/legends to form a team”, so why are people so against it?

call me a nub but I’m just genuinely confused.

Hii @kitsy yes i too understand the feeling yes many player are really mad when there is gm in the match and it is because many of the gm players are toxic i can say most of them i must say i have a lot of friend who are in legend and epics and they won't listen to the team and lack of knowlegde about the game, heroes, and combo etc. I guess thats why most of the people are mad when there are gm in the match and yes i also hqve came across a lot of good players to in gm actually better then some legends players but not many of them so i guess most people think gms are toxic and cancer player.

Short version: No there is no reason you can't invite a Grandmaster but don't just don't.

Long version: People who don't normally do draft pick won't be able to adapat to the restrictions in draft pick such as playing different roles and their map awareness and teamwork is usually much worse.

In the game loading where your loading percentage goes in the border

Smurf in GM and watch the Epics confuse af when you get "Legendary" in 7 minutes XD

Seriously, rank is just for matchmaking. I have encountered good GMs and trash Mythic as well...
