Hero Pool

Before you are able to play ranked games the system automatically requires you to have a set number of heroes in which you'll be able to have a vast choices of heroes to choose from. In other words This refers to your hero pool. Having both a small and big hero pool can have its ups and downs but overall its always best to expand your hero pool as this can make you more versitile to changes as well as heroes you are up against.

Hero pool is actually divided into two seperate views, one of which is the general view and the other is the professional view. Let's talk about the general view first, in which most often refers to the number of heroes you have but does not specifically indicate as to how capable or proficient you are with the hero. Basically its just there for the sake of having another hero choice rather than actually having something to use. This often leads to the result of defeats due to the fact that the player is not proficient with the hero, hence it is much more advisable to let players use heroes that they are more profficient with rather than the heroes needed because if the player uses a hero they are not profficient with then chances are the game would end up on defeat.

On the other hand, in the professional view, hero pool refers to the number of heroes the player can play at a profficient level rather than the number of heroes they have. This often reflects to how good the player actually is when using these specific heroes or of the same class heroes and can most often looked up to towards inspiration when learning these kinds of heroes. These players can also play at a proffesional level but would still make mistakes from time to time after all no one is perfect and people makes mistakes every now and then.

Overall it is ideal for a player to learn various heroes regardless of hero role or of the same hero role as this makes the player more versatile and be less suseptible to easy counter plays.
