I have Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X 4GB and there is HFR yet idoont use it why? It drains battery too fast n ML always has problems sadly i enjoyed it for a while only

This Feature will automatically detect whether the Smartphone can use this feature or not. And most if we use High-End without even asking this feature is already available in settings

Some potato phones like those with the terribly slow snapdragon 615 even has HFR option. And guess what? It doesn't change anything because the phone are already too slow to begin with. So what's my point? My point is that the HFR option detection is inaccurate. Also that having HFR option doesn't necessarily mean that you will have better experience in game, let alone make your game performs better.

Aaand forgot to mention, your Redmi Note 4X will show HFR option if you use AOSP-based ROM or Marshmallow ROM. I use Redmi Note 4X myself unfortunately I need MIUI and I ain't downgrading to marsmallow as I use an important app which needs nougat+
