[Talk With Developer] Developer Update: Hero Balance Changes

Greetings everyone, let us talk about some upcoming changes for some of the more popular heroes.


1.Cyclops
This star bending ‘little giant’ is currently one of the favorite mages in the game. Not only does Cyclops possess burst damage and sustained DPS, his 2nd skill cannot be countered in some aspects by certain heroes. This is why instead of just adjusting his damage, we have also optimized his 2nd ability’s appearance, now all 5 glowing stars will be more easily discerned, giving enemy players more of a chance to fight back. We hope that these changes will give players some more breathing room while facing Cyclops, and also moderate his damage somewhat.

2.Lancelot
This recently released assassin has got it all, with insane burst damage, mobility, invulnerability. Due to Lancelot’s aforementioned talents, he has become an instant pick or ban hero. Yes, we hoped to provide all players who used Lancelot an unforgettable and dynamic experience, but we have ultimately decided that an assassin should not possess the ability to deal a large amount of area of effect damage, as we have found that his 2nd skill has given him mage levels of team-fight damage potential. This is why we will reducing the damage of Thorned Rose’s successive strike damage against multiple enemies. We hope that this change will allow Lancelot to be more of an assassin then the jack of all trade he currently is now.


3.Fanny
As the game’s most mechanically intensive hero, Fanny is no stranger in the higher tiers of ranked gameplay. In the upcoming update, we will be focusing on Fanny into more of a team fighter than split pusher. Even though we have found that Fanny’s energy regen is currently too high, to the point of that even after securing  a skill, she still has more than enough to run away, we will not be making any current changes to her energy, as we do not wish to further affect to what is perhaps, the most dedicated hero fan base.


The adjustments for the above 3 heroes will take affect in the next few updates, otherwise we will continue to make adjustments to heroes that we believe are not behaving as they should in their roles. We hope that these changes will bring a better game experience for everyone and we welcome all feedback from players in relation to their in-game experiences.

Lol. Cyclops' 2nd skill got balanced? You're joking. First you reduced his base speed and now his 2nd skill? That second skill is a life saver if he is being chased or ganked. Please devs, I know players are complaining why some heroes are overpowered but please "BALANCE" it properly. Play your game and find out why you shouldn't change his 2nd skill. Cyclops can be easily chased.

When certain heroes aka fanny and lanelot are banned nearly every ranked game it's saying something, it's not because people just don't want to face then it's because they are stronger than other heroes, people complain about them being nerfed need to grow up and learn to adapt, everyone know lance can deal to much damage with all his immunity, and fanny has always been overpowered in professional hands, but just because a character is hard to learn does not mean they need to be stronger than other characters that's just dumb, I do agree though that cyclops does not need a nerf in any way

Why the lancelot's 2nd skill damage reduced? It is normal for the people who are skillful to play with, I am also one of the lancelot player. Sometimes I met opponent lancelot who is lancelot newbie, he/she can't fight and always died, sometimes I have the same thing. The Hp too low but for the skillful ones to play with low Hp is OK and sometimes died. I hope lancelot can still be strong as before, I don't want this updated new lancelot's 2nd skill damage. And I hope lancelot does not get weak after this new update.

FANNY IS BULLAHIIIT YOU KNOW CAN EVEN 4 V 5 CAN SECURE KILL AND MOAT OF ALL FIRST SKILL CONNECTING BY THE WIRE IS MORE ADVANTAGES IN

Yea right. Preach on bro. Whom are you kidding by saying he's not OP? His 2nd skill is enough for him to go 1v3 and not die since he can spam it always while being immune too and deal huge amounts of AOE damage. Atleast Fanny isn't immune during her cable spam and also she's a lot more difficult to master and play.

Exactly. That ulti CD increase was enough in my opinion. I feel slow af cause of his movement speed nerf and he can already be chased every before the nerf. Why do the devs think Cyclops needed adjustments anyways? He's not perma-banned anymore since the nerf he got.

fanny only seems weak when someone using her isn't pro, she's overly powered when someone who is skilled with her plays her, even if your not the best fanny player you can still wall spam with the cable witch is still annoying. I think adding a 0.5-1 second cool down for the cable after she stops flying would be a good idea.

fanny needs charges for her cable . it needs to be slower also . her moment speed is unreal . fanny can take my alu aa jump an my sabers ults and take me all the way across the map into her base . that's totally fair right .I ult this fanny at my base turret an she takes e across the entire  map to,her base . yall are fuck ing unreal to even ha e this hero still so buffed

Also every time you introduce a new hero you give all them insane utility and very small skill cap to even play them .an their all fueling 32000 except that pos digger . stop with yall greedy ass bulls hit makes ,e never want to reload diamonds for this game

The other aspect of fanny is that her skill don't have a cooling down process, so in some cases it is infinite spells which have been used in the battle. This is quite unfair to other heros. Guess if other hero can regenerate the magical points when attacking and don't have a cooling down on the spells, then how strong it is. And when flying, fanny cannot be stunned, this is another bug kind of skills. Even Grock's ultimate spell can be stopped by some spells, but fanny's second skill won't.

The issue with fanny is if the player can accurately proc the tornado strike everytime they use steel cable then they  wont run out of energy , to make things worse the more opponent she proc the larger energy she recover which making her much more harder to aim and shutdown ( maybe decrease her energy gain if hitting more than 1 hero?)

i think argus and moskov must be adjusted again. Argus  ultimate suppose to be his more stronger than this now, i liked ultimate argus at first launching but maybe need adjustment in damage turret, maybe you can make 30% or more damage turret convert to HP argus, because ulti argus is useless now. And for moskov i think he have a longer range since he is a markman, doing the same thing as bruno revamp who has longer range. Thanks best regards, no guts no glory. GG Mobile Legend

I think Fanny is better when she was before Argus update. Because her energy regen is 5, and when dealing damage to enemies not too much regen the energy. I think she was balanced in that era

fanny's mechanics is the hardest one in the whole game..only players which have time and dedication can master her...she's not n simple hero,so she should be some how over powered..bcz it's so easy to kill a noob fanny and harder to find a pro fanny in games

i don't get why they are nerfing cyclops again when his ult cd is already too long and the 1st skill does minimal damage lol no one bans cyclops anymore, devs should take a look at kagura instead

Wtf! Its not fun at all if you reduce the damage dealt by lancelot. Because that's unfair for us who recently bought lancelot. Lancelot is not over powered. It depends on how you skillful the player is.
