Until one day they did research in Chronoscience, they realized that Diggie really liked the clock. The scholars and researchers finally believe that in this clock kept many secrets."

Introduction
Good day, guys and gals! olDIE's back again to give you a helpful guide with the newest hero: Diggie! So we’re here to have an in depth look with him and his skills, combos, recommended gear, emblem set, tricks and a whole lot more! Before we start things off, let me just say that support heroes are my second favorite class of heroes in ML or any MOBA game. They basically just protect the team like tanks do without the need to deal any sort of huge damage; although their difference is that supports are capable of healing allies and blocking projectiles of the enemy team. Now we got that cleared out of the way, let's get started shall we?

Hero Skills and Abilities
Passive: [Young Again]
Time will reverse after death and Diggie will become and egg, movement will be possible and Diggie will receive all new chick abilities. The egg form cannot be targeted, after a period of time, Diggie will revive. Even though it is egg-shaped, Digger can keep moving and take out the skills it has.
This means that whenever Diggie dies; instead of waiting to respawn and not doing anything. You can control him and proceed to annoy enemy heroes in the way. Another advantage of his passive is he cannot accept any damage, either from the opponent, turret, Lord, Turtle, jungle monsters and minions. Make use of this passive to spy and steal on enemy jungle. After the countdown ends, Diggie will change to his original form once again.

Skill 1: [Time Bomb]
Throws an alarm clock at the targeted direction, it will explode after a set amount of time, dealing magical damage in an area and stunning, damage scales with tick time (during ticking, tap again to immediately detonate the bomb, if the bomb is detonated early, it will only slow instead of stunning).
Time Bomb can be useful to clear minion waves and steal jungle monsters from opponents. Be wary that timing of this skill is needed in order to be effective. Know when to detonate the bomb; whether you need to slow them and poke or go full out and stun them. Priorities and objectives.

Skill 2: [Reverse Time]
Lock onto the target dealing magical damage and slowing, later the target will be pulled back into the set location and deal magical damage. If the enemy get too far away, they will immediately be pulled into the set location and be damaged.
Like Kagura, this skill has the advantage of pulling your enemies closer to you and your teammates or at some cases: near the turret. Later I will explain the combos you could do with the first and second skill, so stay tuned!


Skill 3: [Time Journey]
For a period of time surrounding allies will be immune to crowd control. During the casting, surround allies will be granted temporary shield.
This is Diggie's main skill that defines him as a support. His ultimate is really great in team fights a.k.a ganks. You can definitely save your ally that’s about to be dead (make sure you're near him/her). Also, the crowd control immunity can be a great help for your team to survive during clashes. The given shield during the ultimate is somehow the same as having an Athena's Shield as one of your items.

Hero's Recommended Gear
Time Breaker - Tank Diggie
If you want to be durable AF, go for this build. Although dying may slighty be avoided, Diggie's passive will go to waste by using this build. It's your choice though - this is recommended for staying alive within team fight/s.


Warrior Boots - +40 Movement Speed, +22 Armor
Passive: Valor - Every basic attack received, his/her armor increases by a certain amount of point/s lasting in a few seconds.
Courage Bulwark -+770 HP, +45 HP Regen
Passive: Heavy Armor - Nearby soldiers can take more turret damage as allies will also get an increase of  chosen attributes.
Cursed Helmet - +920 HP, +50 Magic Resistance
Passive: Burning Soul - Deals 1.5% of one's max HP as magic damage per second to nearby enemies and deals 50% extra damage to minions.
Demon's Advent - +920 HP, +54 Armor, +30 HP Regen
Passive: Deter - When an enemy hero attacks, this ability will reduce his/her attack power by 4%. This effect lasts  2s and can stack up to 3 times.
Oracle - +850 HP, +36 Magic RES, +35 HP Regen, +10% Cooldown Reduction
Passive: Scream - Within 4s after being attacked, the hero will regen 4% HP. This effect has a 8s cooldown time.
Blade Armor - +90 Armor
Passive: Counterstrike - Deals 25% of opponent's physical attack as physical damage to an attack when a basic attack is received.

Time Freeze - Semi-Tank Diggie
If you want to be able to deal decent amount of damage while being tanky at the same time, try this build. It's your choice though - this is recommended for utility purposes.

Magic Shoes - +10% Cooldown Reduction, +40 Movement Speed
Enchanted Talisman - +55 Magic Power, +250 HP, +20% Cooldown Reduction
Passive: Mana Spring - A kill or assist regens 20% of hero's mana within 5 seconds.
Courage Bulwark - +770 HP, +45 HP Regen
Passive: Heavy Armor - Nearby soldiers can take more turret damage as allies will also get an increase of  chosen attributes.
Ice Queen Wand - +75 Magic Power, +15 Mana Regen, +7% Movement Speed
Passive: Ice Bound - Skills that damage an enemy hero will carry a 15% slow down effect. This effect lasts 3 seconds and can stack up to 2 times.
Cursed Helmet - +920 HP, +50 Magic Resistance
Passive: Burning Soul - Deals 1.5% of one's max HP as magic damage per second to nearby enemies and deals 50% extra damage to minions.
Demon's Advent - +920 HP, +54 Armor, +30 HP Regen
Passive: Deter - When an enemy hero attacks, this ability will reduce his/her attack power by 4%. This effect lasts  2s and can stack up to 3 times.


Emblem Set and Battle Spells



For me, the only emblem set best suitable for Diggie is the Roamer Emblem Set. It allows him to sustain a great cooldown reduction and hybrid penetration; perfect for support heroes like the scientist himself. But you can also use Magic Emblem or Magic Assassin if you have the guts to be offensive rather than defensive.

These are the three battle spells I suggest you to use with Diggie: the best one I can offer is the Flicker, use it as a last resort escape routine; also great for harrassing enemies and jumping quickly into ganks. Second, Petrify. It is suitable for teamfights as well as running away from danger. Last one, Weaken. This should slow down your enemy's movement speed so that your allies can catch up to him/her and easily get the kill.

Strategy, Tips and Tricks
To begin, let me allow to explain the typical combos for Diggie. For maximum effect, you want to make sure that your first skill hits your opponent. Sure you can trigger the bomb to blow up right away but that won’t damage much and won’t have a stun effect. But it all depends on the situation. Detonate early during dire situations and pokes; no need to be worried about your mana since Diggie has the right mana regen and an ample amount of mana in the first place.

Now, right after using your first skill you must quickly use your second skill to hold the opponent in place. It means that you need to make sure you’re in range with your opponent for the second skill. Since the AOE of your first skill is much bigger, the aforementioned combo works because right after the opponent gets pulled back, it would be the same time your clock would explode. More or less.
If you use the second skill first then your enemy would be pulled back too early and have a chance to dodge your exploding alarm clock. Of course that won’t always be the case, as I said it all depends on the movement of your opponent. But this is the most basic combo to make sure your first skill hits. Your third skill, however, must be saved when an enemy hero/team (for example: Alpha, Hilda, or any initiator and crowd control hero) charges towards your team. The said characters hugely depend and excel at team fights so crippling them early is a good start for a good wipe out.

Scholars and thinkers from all over the world gather at the city of antoinerei. It is here where the commonly overlooked diggie lives.  Many don't give a second look to diggie due to his small frame, until they come upon his researches in chronoscience.

Diggie loves  clocks, he believes that within these little mec mechanical toys lies  many  more yet to be  discovered secrets.  Though  the use  of his time

Skills



Passive: Young Again
Time will reverse after death and Diggie will become an egg, the movement will be possible and Digger will receive all new chick Abilities. The egg form cannot be targeted, after a period of time, Digger will revive.


1st: Time Bomb
Cooldown: 8.0
Mana cost: 70
Throw an alarm clock in the targeted direction, it will explode after a set amount of X time, dealing X magical damage in an area and sunning, damage scales with tick time (during ticking, tap again to immediately detonate the bomb, if the bomb is detonated early, it will only slow instead of stunning).


2nd: Reverse Time
Cooldown: 15.0
Mana cost: 90
Lock onto the target dealing magical damage and slowing, later the target will be pulled back into the set location and dealt X magical damage. If the enemy gets too far away, they will immediately be pulled into the set location and be damaged.


Ultimate: Time Journey
Cooldown: 60.0
Mana cost: 130
For a period of X time, surrounding allies will be immune to crowd control. During the casting, surrounding allies will be granted a temporary shield.




Egg Mode Skills:


Skill 1: Disdain
Displays disdain at the enemy, dealing a small amount of damage to surrounding enemies while letting out anger.


Skill 2: Egg Dance
Happily dances his hometown jig, dealing a small amount of damage enemies and focuses them to stay and watch.


Skill 3: Victory Prayers
Rolls on the ground praying for the enemy's base to explode immediately, legends say that this type of action has 0% success rate.





Equipment


1st Item - Magic Shoes: Early Mov. Speed and cheap 10% CDR.

2nd Item - Enchanted Talisman: Good Magic Power, some HP, high 20% CDR and very high Mana Regen so we will never run out. Very good item which will allow us to spam our skills for the rest of the game thanks to the high cdr and mana regen provided.

3rd Item - Athena's Shield: High HP and Magic RES, good HP Regen. The Passive periodically gives us a very strong defensive Shield making us a lot more durable.

4th Item - Thunder Belt: High HP and Mana, Good Armor and HP Regen, it also gives a bit of Magic Power. The Passive gives us an additional strong slow giving us more utility. The slow can help keeping enemies in range of our bomb and stuff like that.

5th Item - Courage Bulwark: Good HP and very high HP Regen. The Passive increases Damage and Defense of allies near us (it will also buff us of course) by 10% and also makes our minions more resistant to Turret Damage. We will also be able to give this Buff to our allies even if we are dead.

6th Item - Necklace of Durance: Good Magic Damage, some HP and 5% CDR (bringing you to the 40% or close to it, it depends on your Emblem Set Level). The Passive reduces enemy Regen/Lifesteal by 50% when we damage them with our skills adding some more utility to our skills.

Starting Item: 250g Boots and 1x Magic Necklace right after that.

Note: The first 4 items of this build are core, you can try different combinations with the last 2 items.


Battleground Spells



Flicker: Digger doesn't have a direct mobility skill so Flicker is nice to have in those situation where you might need that instant mobility. You can use it to escape or if you are far away you can use it to get closer to your allies to save them with your ultimate, etc.

Healing Spell: If you haven't unlocked Flicker then you can use this Spell to have another burst heal on top of the shield from your ultimate to keep your allies alive.

Pros:
-Mobile hero
-Lots of slows
-Counters enemy CC every 60s (not including CDR items), and also gives the team a shield
-Great disruption skills against enemies that can dash, blink, flicker, pop away.
-Provides the team a walking ward if dead, and prevents enemies to recall.
-Can be built tanky

Cons:
-No benefit from the passive if you're alive.
-Requires good targetting for skills, and alertness for ult.
-May feed the whole enemy team if went afk in the middle of the map
-Needs team coordination, and is very team dependent (well, he is a support)

SKILLS

-Become a chicken egg when you die, and be a walking ward that can prevent enemies from recalling. Be mindful of when respawning, that you shouldn't be in the enemy's face when your respawn timer is almost 0. Also, please never play diggie to be in egg form. Don't feed the enemy. You're more useful with your regular abilities than being a walking ward and feeding the enemy team when you're not. The lesser you proc this passive, the better.

-This skill actually slows down enemies inside the AoE of the bomb before it explodes. Useful for kiting. During the laning phase of the game, use it when your team minions are dying and your enemies are about to last hit. Pop it in the middle of the wave and prevent the enemies to take last hits, or burst them down with this skill. Tap the skill to activate before the timer runs out.

-Flicker hooks from Ruby and Franco? Party hat tricks from Harley? Dashes from Saber and Chou? Umbrella blinks from Kagura? You name it! This skill brings back enemies from whence they came! Use it on enemies trying to escape or initiate.

-Team Purify with a shield. Nice try, Aurora. Don't be afraid to use this skill to turn the tables during teamfights, and grant your allies some shield for them to lifesteal their health back and win the clash for you. This prevents any form of CC from the enemy including slows, so it's very useful for chasing and running away.

Recommended Skill Build
Max skill 1 (Time Bomb) first. Take Ult (Time Journey) whenever possible. Max skill 2 (Reverse Time) last.
One level of Reverse Time is enough to disrupt the enemies. Only the damage scales with its level, and Time Bomb does it better. So you max your Skill 2 last.

Recommended Emblem

Roamer for running in general, which includes chasing and escaping. Very useful while and while not in egg form.

Recommended Battle Spell
Petrify
This spell gives you breathing time against heroes that go after you first. This also lets you dive infront of teamfights and is very useful when playing on a tanky build. Comparing it with Flicker, you may only want to use Flicker to jump in and save your dying teammates. I'd prefer Petrify, followed by Skills 1 and 2 for a good burst.

Recommended Item Build

-Start with Brown Boots. Go to the middle lane, on the side bush, and pop your Skill 1 on the enemy mid lane. Do it around 2x before going to the side lane. Follow the enemy mid if he tries to jungle. Upgrade to Rapid Boots ASAP.
-Get Mana Necklace and work your way to Enchanted Talisman. Alternatively, you might want to buy Lightning Truncheon instead for a bursty support if you don't want the CDR from ET. However, you may want to consider the 20% CDR for your Ultimate with 60s CD. Either way, this next item should solve your mana problems.
-Start getting tanky and buy Athena's Shield. This item lets you go frontline or just dive right in for you to pop your skills and help your team.
-To complement the shields that you're getting from items and your ult, buy Courage Bulwark for your whole team. This item gives all your team members some nice durability, couple that up with the shield from your ultimate.
-Immortality helps whether or not you're being targetted first. This item gives you more opportunities to dive in teamfights for the team. If the enemy wasted their bursts on you, good for your team. Delay your egg form a bit and go cast more of your disruptive and bursty skills!
-Dominance Ice not only lets you stay in the frontline long enough, it also synergizes with your skills so that enemies will get bursted and slowed down with your skills 1 and 2. Aside from that, this item completes your 40% CDR if you had Enchanted Talisman and a level 60 Roamer emblem.

TL;DR version:
Rapid Boots > Enchanted Talisman > Athena's Shield > Courage Bulwark > Immortality > Dominance Ice

TIPS AND PLAYSTYLE:
-Use skill 1 to poke and kite enemies during laning phase. It also slows them down like your skill 2.
-Tap your skill 1 to slow down the enemies, which can be useful even with low damage due to not being channeled
-Use skill 2 before the enemy Harley, Hayabusa, Saber, Kagura blinks to their next location. Use it to save your team as well.
-DO NOT PLAY DIGGIE TO BE IN EGG FORM! Avoid dying at all costs. You're more useful as an alive Diggie with your slows and shields.
-Don't be afraid to die for your team sometimes. Even in death, you are very much of help to your team.
-Be mindful of your ultimate's long cooldown when facing CC heavy enemies.

GREAT TEAMMATES:
Kagura, Ruby, Grock
These three heroes either pulls the enemies even more, secures that your bursty Skill 1 hits the enemies, and pretty much synergizes with your kit.

ENEMIES YOU SHOULD BE CAREFUL AGAINST
Fanny, Karina, Hayabusa
These assassins just burst you down real fast without the need of any CC. You can try running, but they're a pain to deal with.

Background story
Scholars and thinkers from all over the world gather at the city of antoinerei. It is here where the commonly overlooked diggie lives.  Many don't give a second look to diggie due to his small frame, until they come upon his researches in chronoscience.
Diggie loves  clocks, he believes that within these little mec mechanical toys lies  many  more yet to be  discovered secrets.  Though  the use  of his time
Best  doggie can control  the flow of time.
He is also able to realase his friends from the physical  shackles of time, taking them along with him. Beware though, for if you anger him, be prepared for the taste of a 'Time Bomb'!

Skills Diggie
Passive: [Young Again]
Time will reverse after death and Diggie will become an egg, the movement will be possible and Digger will receive all new chick Abilities. The egg form cannot be targeted, after a period of time, Digger will revive.

1st:Time Bomb
Cooldown: 8.0
Mana cost: 70
Throw an alarm clock in the targeted direction, it will explode after a set amount of X time, dealing X magical damage in an area and sunning, damage scales with tick time (during ticking, tap again to immediately detonate the bomb, if the bomb is detonated early, it will only slow instead of stunning).

2nd)Reverse Time
Cooldown: 15.0
Mana cost: 90
Lock onto the target dealing magical damage and slowing, later the target will be pulled back into the set location and dealt X magical damage. If the enemy gets too far away, they will immediately be pulled into the set location and be damaged.

Ultimate:Time Journey
Cooldown: 60.0
Mana cost: 130
For a period of X time, surrounding allies will be immune to crowd control. During the casting, surrounding allies will be granted a temporary shield.
