"The ever-so handsome Lancelot hails from the Baroque family in the Land of Dawn, where at a young age he showed exquisite talent in the art of fencing, garnering the praise of the masses, so much so that he became lost in the admiration. When the magical tribes of the attacked, Lancelot, who had just awoken from a drunken stupor, arrogantly attacked them alone. After winning a few battles, he dropped his guard and pursued the remaining forces in arrogance but soon the magical tribes regrouped and defeated him within the mountains. After coming in contact with Princess Odette, he soon became enamoured with her purity and also soon understood how wrong he was to be so arrogant and shallow in the past. When he was recovering at the Swan Castle, Lancelot soon realized the magical potential of the Regina family, he was able to integrate it into his fencing, culminating in the shadow step maneuver. Now he once again sets foot in the fighting ring to test his new skills."

Introduction
Greetings to you, my fellow MLBB players! Welcome to an intensive guide for Lancelot! My name is olDIE and I have been playing the game for about five months; starting in June. I specialize in using mages and support. But I also play other roles including assassins and tanks and ever since Lancelot came out I BADLY want to play him but I have no BP. Thankfully, I had the chance to use him in my other account. He has a high potential yet risky burst damage hero with devestating physical damage once built properly. With the right timing, skill shots and positioning, any player can master the Perfumed Knight and achieve easy games... and possibly even PENTA KILLS.

Pros and Cons of Lancelot

• Pros
1. Highly capable in dealing insane burst damage once you have your core items.
2. He can increase damage due to his armor-removing passive.
3. Has decent mobility but has insane agility once the first skill connects with other opponents.
4. Can easily clear out minion waves and jungle efficiently because of his second skill.
5. Is able to step on a 1v5 situation if fed and the skills are done properly.

• Cons
1. SQUISHY as hell.
2. Missing skill shots leads to big mistakes and death.
3. Quite weak in the early game due to his low amount of health.
4. Depends on skill positioning during teamfights or dualfights.
5. Decision making is VERY critical to Lancelot.



Skill Overview
Passive: Soul Cutter –
"For every 10 seconds, Lancelot will complete the fencing move ‘surgical promise’, his next basic attack will make the target defenseless, Lancelot will deal an extra 20% damage to defenseless enemies." This will mark your chosen target so make sure to make use of this skill with precision. Do a mark on the target you want to take down, most especially marksmen, assassins and mages since they are the low health but great damage dealing heroes.

1st Skill:Puncture –
"Charges towards the targeted direction dealing 100 points of the target will be etched with a sword mark, if the target hit did not have sword mark then Puncture’s cooldown will refresh." This will be your initiating skill so you can get closer to your target with ease. Don’t forget that this hero has a major disadvantage on CC make sure that upon using this skill your next attack is ready for the combo. Prioritize leveling this skill up next to your ultimate.

2nd Skill: Thorned Rose –
"Performs an amazing sword fighting technique within an area, an enemy may be struck a maximum of three times for 250 points of physical damage, enemies hit three consecutive times will be slowed for 70%. This is the only CC in your skill so make sure to use it wisely. If you get confronted and you know that you can get a skill without using this skill, don’t waste and reserve it for more important situation. Just save this skill if your opponent will make a distance from you.

Ultimate Skill: Phantom Execution –
After a short period of charging, Lancelot performs a executioner’s strike in a forward direction, he is invincible throughout the process, dealing 400 points of physical damage to his enemies. As name says this is about killing your target. In the other view, making your invincible in fight can also use this skill as form of defense. You can dodge damage with this skill with proper execution. As what I mentioned above, Lancelot is squishy for being initiator. And from this expect that you will get focused fire most of the time as you are also dangerous opponent that can zone out mage and marksman easily. With the invincibility you will get from your ultimate, you can use it to do your objective in game.




Recommended Build and Emblems
1. Bloodlust Axe
+70 Physical ATK
+10% CD Reduction        Bloodthirsty: When skills cause damage, heals 15% of damage as HP for the hero.
Every assassin needs a lifesteal item/sustain item. Period.

2. Magic Shoes
+10% Cooldown Reduction, +40 Movement Speed        Lancelot needs to maximize his cooldown to be efficient in the battlefield.

3. Hunter's Strike
+100 Physical Attack, +10% Cooldown Reduction        Pursue: Increase movement speed 30% after killing a hero. Lasts 2s.
With this, Lancelot is capable of spamming his skills due to the CD reduction and the movement speed reward of the passive after killing an enemy. Very useful for ganks.

4. Endless Battle
+65 Physical Attack, +25 Magic Power, +250 HP, +300 Mana, +5% Movement Speed, +15% Lifesteal        Divine Justice: After using this ability, the next basic attack will have an additional 70% physical damage as true damage. This effect has a 2s cooldown.


Chase Fate: When Divine Justice's effect is triggered, it will increase the hero's movement speed 15%.


Movement speed accompanied with a hella' lot of offensive bonuses. What a treat.

5. Blade of the Seven Seas
+65 Physical Attack, +300 HP, +20% Attack Speed        Fury: Basic attacks will increase hero's movement speed 10%. Steamroll: Basic attacks will lower target physical armor 7. This effect can stack up to 5 times.


Additional movement speed with an increase of armor-wearing damage is viable for Lancelot during mid-late game.

6. Blade of Despair
+170 Physical Attack, +10% Attack Speed,        Despair: Deals an extra 10% damage to an enemy in any abnormal state (stunned,knocked airborne, transformed, diabled)


The final item for Lancelot; stacks him up to a godlike state of assassination.


The most recommended emblem set for him is the physical assassin and roamer emblem. Both emblems provide an ample amount of penetration and cooldown to top it all off.

Strategy, Tips and Tricks
1. Use bursty builds like the aforementioned one since Lancelot is vulnerable and not a DPS hero.
2. His second skill can be used to block stuns of Cyclops and the like with proper timing.
3. When enemies are lined up, you could use your first skill to be at their back line and start your attacks from there.
4. Lancelot is so squishy that it is sometimes better to just dive the enemy, kill their damage dealer/s then die and let your team mates do the clean up.
5. Weaken and Retribution are your best friends.
6. You are not immune when you use the first skill. Be aware and careful.
7. Here are a list of combos for Lancelot:
Combo 1: 1st = 3rd = Weaken = 2nd = 1st
Combo 2: 3rd = 2x 1st skill = Weaken  = 2nd (for solo kills)
For laning skill combo: 2x 1st skill = 2nd skill

l Simply depends on the buff l The price is expensive l Do not have good crowd control,just pure burst damage l The area of ultimate damage skill is long enough but less widht (in my oppinion), so it must be right fitting to direct the puncture to hit some enemy heroes.

l Quite easy to use and mastered l Has a very large burst of damage l Hero assassin is very lively.
