ey guys what’s up, so we’re here to talk about the best item for Odette. I’ve been playing her recently in the rank games and she is just insane guys. I’ve been getting winning streaks from playing her. I guess one of the reasons of her huge number of kills is that some players still have no idea how her ultimate works. Sometimes you’ll see Karina or Alucard trying to bring her down when she has her ultimate on; they think it’s gonna be an easy kill since a mage is just standing there. I think some of the people still don’t know of the 60% damage reduction that Odette gets from her ultimate and just how damaging her ultimate can be. It’s not a burst damage, but a slow, steady damage, pretty much like Gord but a bit weaker. So some of them get fooled that they can take her ultimate head on. They’ll attack you since you didn’t damage them that much and they will try to kill you while you have a 60% damage reduction, that’s a lot guys. One of the factors that make her ultimate effective is because of the 60% damage reduction.
Now by the time they realize that they can’t kill you in time, it’ll be too late to leave the radius of her ultimate. However, With time I think they’ll be more wary and careful of Odette’s ultimate and learn how to properly counter it.
Also, guys, you’re not exactly invincible during your ultimate, and this is where the Concentrated Energy comes in. Basically, it’s a life steal for mages. It’s the perfect Item for her ultimate guys. Perfect. This helps you survive longer when you have your ultimate on. There are a lot of instances wherein I use my ultimate late in the clash because I try to make sure that most of the opponents have already used their disabling or CC skills. Since the biggest weakness of Odette guys is disabling skills. Skills that can cancel the casting of her ultimate.
There are instances wherein I only have half HP or even less because I was waiting for the cc skills to be used. And some of them can kill you even if you have your 60% damage reduction on if you have low HP. However, with Concentrated Energy, you get to life steal from all those opponents within your ultimate. That’s a lot of life steal guys.
Also, if you use your ultimate with half HP, it can be a bait for those fast killers like Karina or Alucard. They’ll think that you’re an easy kill, but the life steal you can get can compensate for your missing HP. However, don’t do it if your opponent is extremely fed.
Fun fact guys, you can flicker even when you have your ultimate on, it won’t cancel your cast. It’s a great way to chase those enemies trying to get away from the radius of your ultimate. Now, be careful on opponents who have CC skills, or those who have petrify as their battle spell. One petrify, or cc skill can make your powerful ultimate useless. So time your ultimate properly.
Other great items I find useful for Odette is the Ice Queen Wand or Athena’s Shield. I use Ice Queen Wand if our team has the advantage and Athena’s Shield if we are at a disadvantage. Ice Queen Wand helps you secure your kills since it has a 15% slow down effect that can stack two two times. With your ultimate, the effects stacking up is sure to happen, so it’s a 30% slow down effect. This will make it harder for your opponents to escape your ultimate. Now, if we’re at a clear disadvantage and the opponents are getting fed a lot, I go with Athena’s Shield since this increases my chance of survivability. Other than those Items mentioned I go with the typical damage dealing magic items. Also, I use Lightning Truncheon as my first item since this boosts the damage of my first skill, and helps with poking the enemy heroes.

A suitable Hero to defeat Odette
Judging from the various weaknesses that he has, following is a suitable hero used to defeat Odette:
Argus: Argus Demonic Grip's ability to override Odette's Swan Song. Then coupled with various other offensive combos of skill, Argus will surely win against Odette. If pressed, such as Odette using Battle Spell Purify, Argus is able to use Eternal Evil. This ability makes him unable to die, and starts slaughtering Odette or other heroes or running away.
Hayabusha: One of the heroes who possesses this innate ability that makes him immune to any attack when he uses Ougi's ability: Shadow Kill. When the enemy attacks and uses Swan Song, Ougi: Shadow Kill can be a good defense. He will be immune to Swan Song's attacks and get time to escape or counterattack.
Franco: When Odette does not move, that's Franco's chance to pull her using Iron Hook. This ability also amazes Swan Song. In addition Brutal Masacre also blew Swan Song.
