(BACKGROUND STORY)
Deep within the mountains of the Land of Dawn sits an ancient fortress. Though the owner is unknown, it is rumored that it could be a descendant of the legendary race that once walked the Lands of Dawn. It said that this race is older than the earth itself, having a special affinity for nature, they were able to build deep connections and relations with various beings of nature, especially the Stone Titans. These amiable giants possess rocky skin that is almost impervious to all physical force, but due to their kind nature, they mainly use their physical prowess to sleep safely. These stony giants love sleeping so much that they will hibernate for up to half a year sometimes, but however once they are awakened, it is hard for them fall asleep again. One day when Grock awoke again, he found himself to be alone, the guardians of the fortress long gone. He proceeded to saddle the fortress onto his back to find the owners, setting out all over the Land of Dawn to find any news on their whereabouts, so he may one day return their home to them.

Grock - The Fortress Titan  Before I jump into the guide, I have to say that I was about to finish it when my phone suddenly crashed T_T. And I had to write it once again...  Skills  Passive:Ancestral Gift Increases his movement speed by 10%, and 26-180 physical and magical defense (imcreases with level) when Grock is near a wall or a turret.  My opinion: Its a very good passive as for a tank. It gives you movement speed and both armor and magic resistance every time you walk near a wall/turret. Try to maximize it as much as you can.  1st AbilityPower of Nature Raises weapon to sweep nearby enemies, dealing 300 physical damage and slowing their movement speed for 2s. The longer he charges the higher the damage is.  My opinion: Very good ability for both dealing damage and slowing enemies down which helps in chasing or escaping. Charge it for as long as you can.  2nd AbilityGuardian's Barrier Fires a shock wave towards a target's location dealing 300 physical damage. Then the shock wave becomes a stone wall that blocks enemies for 5s.  My opinion: This spell is the best for countering champions without gap closers. It can help you to initiate fights, chase enemies or to escape.   UltimateWild Charge Charges forward, dealing 300 physical damage to enemies on the path. Hitting a wall or a turret allows him to deal 450 physical damage to the nearby enemies and reduce cooldown of this ability by 30%.  My opinion: One of the best Ultimates to initiate fights. Always try to collide with a wall or a turret for maximum effect. Remember that you can raise your own wall to collide with :)  As for the emblems go for Tank/Roamer emblem - Both are good. As a battle spell, take flicker for better initiations or when you need to get out of sticky situations.  Build 1. Rapid Boots 2. Cursed Helmet 3. Dominance Ice 4. Immortality 5. Demon's Advent 6. Oracle.  Few words about the build: Rapid boots helps you to roam faster and allows you to maximize your passive. Cursed helmet is for better farming which is hard as a tank and helps with dealing additional damage to the enemy team. Dominance Ice solves mana problem, gives armor and cdr which synergizes with ultimate quite well. Immortality - You need it for the passive mostly, but HP it provides isnt that bad :) And that Magic Resistance! Demon's Advent makes you tanky as hell thanks to its passive. Oracle gives CDR that synergizes with Dominance Ice and Ult, and also regens 4% of your max HP whenever you get hit.   Now lets talk about an early game, mid game and late game.  Early Game  Buy the worst boots and take your first ability. Go bot lane and go for the red buff (give red buff to your adc). After that go to lane and clear a wave and do another jungle creep (these one close to ypur turret). Early game is all about getting fed and your job is to protect your adc with who you should be laning with. Also rember that you can use your wall to peel enemies whenever they try to attack you, or when you try to catch them. Early Game ends when either: 1. You/enemy destroyed first turrets 2. You got 3-4 core items bought. After early game ends, starts....  ...Mid Game This is the part of the game where you will shine. Mid game is all about teamfights and getting objectives. When you try to initiate a fight, do it with your ultimate and try to collide with a terrain (Remember that u can collide with your own wall made by 2nd ability). When you see someone from enemy team cut of the group - go for him/her and kill him/her. Take someone with you tho :). After you've won a teamfight, go for: 1. An enemy turret 2. Lord 3. Turtle (turtle is as much worth as destroyed turret so keep that in mind).  Late Game At this moment you should be fully built. At this point you can say you are a Fortress Titan. Late game is not much of a difference from mid game. The only difference is that you are solid like a mountain, and you (and your teammates) should focus on destroying enemy base. Absorb as much damage as you c

[size=36.9444px]Grock Item, Skill Build and Strategy Guide

images.jpg

Brief Introduction

Once again, Mobile Legends has released a new hero. Grock is a new tank hero with unique play style and I was thrilled to play the new hero. With the ability to create obstacles or ‘walls’, Grock may remind you of Earthshaker in DotA 2. Nevertheless, Grock like his name mention, is a sturdy tank hero that you should consider adding into your tank collection.

With Power of Nature, Grock is able to slow down targets and deal damage according to his charge time – the longer you charge, the higher damage you will deal. Guardian’s Barrier is the trademark of Grock, he fires a shockwave to target and creates a stone wall to serve as an obstacle for 5 seconds. His ultimate, Wild Charge allows Grock to charge forward and deals damage to opponents within the path. The skill does additional damage when Grock hits a wall or turret. For his passive, Grock’s physical, magical defence and movement speed increases when he is near a wall or turret

Interesting Fact – Grock is currently the only hero capable of creating obstacles in Mobile Legends at the moment.

Cost

Grock costs 32000 battle points or 419 diamonds.

Emblem

Choosing the correct Emblem  plays an important role in ranked matches. Be sure to select the correct Emblem before starting the game.

Pros

+ Insane Durability

+ Ability to create obstacles

+ Good Initiator

Cons

– Expensive

– Ultimate has a cool down of 40 seconds.

Again, my builds for tank are always separated into 3 different categories, Physical Defence, Magic Resistance and Norm (Normal). These are situational builds catered for draft matches where you select the most appropriate category based on your opponent’s hero selection.

Skill Build

Power of Nature

Core harassment skill for Grock. Deals a slight damage and slows enemy within surrounding range.

Guardian’s Barrier

Trademark of Grock, he fires a shockwave to target and creates a stone wall to serve as an obstacle for 5 seconds. Excellent skill to cage enemy targets.

Wild Charge

Grock charges forward and deals damage to opponents within the path. The skill does additional damage when Grock hits a wall or turret.

Ancestral Gift (Passive)

Grock’s physical, magical defence and movement speed increases when he is near a wall or turret

Conclusion

Unlike most tanks, Grock doesn’t really have any form of disabilities in his skills. Although he might be a fun hero to play with, Grock is priced at 32000 battle points which you might want to consider before purchasing.

Thanks you
