Introduction
Karrie is a marksman female hero with specialty reap or burst damage. She is range attack hero with high attack speed and high mobility. What make her special than other marksman hero is she can take down lord, turtle and tank hero very fast due to her ultimate skill that boost her attack speed and her passive skill that dealing true damage to the target. With proper gear set and control, she can do massive damage to enemy hero. If you like to play marksman or hero that do massive damage at backline, then you must buy this hero. In this guide, I will guide you how to play Karrie in very offensive way as damage dealer.
PRO:
- High attack speed
- High mobility
- High damage toward high Max HP target
- Skill that boost attack speed
- Skill that allow Karrie flick (good for chasing target/ escape/ avoid attack)
CON:
- No stun skill
- Low Max HP
- Easily running out of mana if keep spamming skill
- Not easy to control for beginner marksman
Skill Analysis
1) Passive skill: Lightwheel Mark
Karrie passive skill is dealing true damage to a single target. When Karrie attack a target, she will leave a mark for each hit. Marks will accumulate to 5 and it will trigger an actualy lightwheel that dealing true damage base on % of max HP.
This give Karrie great advantage when attacking high Max HP target like tank hero, lord and turtle.
TIPS: During team fight, try aim enemy tank hero first.
Picture below show how Lightwheel Mark work. The white color damage text is the true damage.
2) Active skill: Spinning Lightwheel
This skill allow Karrie farm very fast. This skill cast by specify designated direction. It release a flywheels that damage all enemy/minions at its path and stop at end of direction path aka target location. The flywheels continue do damage to all nearby enemies for few secs. Any target hit by this skill will get slow buff that slowing down their movement speed for 60%. Precision control of this is required so that flywheels will landed at perfect target location.
TIP: This skill not only can use for farming, it also can to slowing down enemy that chasing you or pursuit an enemy hero that escaping.

3) Active skill: Phantomstep
This skill allow Karrie move to designated direction at slow distance. It's like short distance of flicker battle spell. During Karrie move to designated direction, she will release flywheel that do little damage to the nearby enemy.
TIP: Proper control of this skill can increase Karrie survival during team fight.
4) Ultimate skill: Speedy Lightwheel
This is Karrie ultimate skill that allow Karrie release 2 lightwheels at basic attack last for 6 secs. This means Karrie hit per second become double abd Karrie damage also increase, but it's doesn't mean that Karrie DPS become double. It is each basic attack under this skill buff only deal 50% damage. What make this ultimate skill so deadly is because when hit rate become double, the trigger rate of passive skill also increase.
TIP: When Karrie hitting enemy tank, cast this skill to boost Karrie kill enemy tank faster.
Skill Combo:
Situation 1: When encounter enemy
Cast Spinning Lightwheel skill to slow down and damage enemy, use Speedy Lightwheel skill to boost Karrie when engaging. If enemy come closer to Karrie, use Phantomstep to move away.
Situation 2: Jungling
Cast Spinning Lightwheel to jungle monster, if jungle monster not range attack type, move close to the monster and start engaging. You can use Phantomstep to move closer to jungle monster if you have a lot mana.
Recommended Battle Spell
I recommend Flicker battle spell because Karrie is fragile hero. Using Flicker with Phantomstep will greatly increase survival rate.
I recommend Insire battle spell because this spell will work as great combo with Speedy Lightwheel will greatly increase Karrie DPS.
TIP: Choose the suitable battle spell base on your playstyle.
Recommended Emblem set
I recommend use Jungle Emblem Set because it more focus on attack damage, attack speed and movement speed.
TIP: There is few Emblem Set for physical attack hero, I recommended choose the highest level emblem set.
Item Set Recommended
Set 1: This is the set I currently using for Ranking and Match UP Mode.
1) Rapid Boots: +50 Movement speed.
Explanation >> Great speed movement increment for Karrie. Allow Karrie move faster during jungling at early stage of game.
2) Demon Hunter Sword: +35 Physical Attack, +400 Max HP, + 25% Attack speed
Item Passive Skill-Devour: Basic attacks will deal 10% of the target's current HP as additional physical damage (up to max 60 against monsters)
Explanation >> Increase Karrie attack, Max HP and attack speed. It assist Karrie farm faster when attack jungle monsters or enemy minions. It also allow Karrie do more damage when attacking high Maxl HP enemy heroes.
3)Scarlet Phantom: +30 Physical Attack, +40% Attack Speed, +10% Critical Strike Chance
Item Passive Skill-Frenzy: Every Critical Stike will increase Hero attack speed 35% and addtional critical strike chance 5% added. Skill last 2s.
Explaination >> This item increase Karrie physical attack and allow Karrie attack faster with 10% critical strike chance
4)Berserker's Fury: +65 Physical Attack, +25% Critical Strike Chance, +40% Critical Attack Damage
Item Passive Skill-Doom: Addtional physical attack damage 5% added.
Explaination >> This item greatly increase Karrie attack speed, critical attack chance, and critical attack damage. It work combo with Scarlet Phantom. Thus, chances Item Passive Skill-Frenzy being triggered greatly increase.
5)Thuder Belt: +25 Magic Power, +800 Max HP, +400 Max Mana, + 40 Armor, + 15 HP Regen
Item Passive Skill- Thunderbolt: After use a skill, next bassic attack will carry an extra 70% of physical attacks as true damage, and slowing down the target and surrounding enemy units last 1.5s. Effect can only be used once every 1.5s.
Explaination: Greatly increase Karrie Max HP and armor, thus increase Karrie durability. Greatly increase Max Mana, allow Karrie more mana to spam skill 1 and 2. 15 HP Regen is a plus for Karrie to maintain HP level at high condition.
6)Haas's Claws: +70 Physical Attack, +20% Lifesteal
Item Passive Skill-Insanity: Hero receive extra 10% lifesteal when hero HP level drop below 40%
Explaination >> Great increment physical attack and lifesteal allow Karrie regen HP. I assemble Haas's Claws as final item but I recommend buy Vampire Mallet at early stage of game. Vampire Mallet increase 8 physical attack and give 8% lifesteal.
Set 2: I recommend this set because I saw some people using this set and the result is very good.
1) Swift Boots: +15% Attack Speed, +40 Movement Speed
Explaination >> Great increment attack speed and movement speed for Karrie.
2) Haas's Claws: +70 Physical Attack, +20% Lifesteal
Item Passive Skill-Insanity: Hero receive extra 10% lifesteal when hero HP level drop below 40%
Explaination >> Great increment of physical attack and decent lifesteal is a plus for Karrie to regen HP
3)Scarlet Phantom: +30 Physical Attack, +40% Attack Speed, +10% Critical Strike Chance
Item Passive Skill-Frenzy: Every Critical Stike will increase Hero attack speed 35% and addtional critical strike chance 5% added. Skill last 2s.
Explaination >> This item increase Karrie physical attack and allow Karrie attack faster with 10% critical strike chance. Frenzy skill also greatly boost Karrie attack speed and critical chance.
4)Windtalker: +25% Attack Speed, +20 Movement Speed, +20% Critical Strike Chance
Item Passive Skill-Typoon: After every 5 basic attack, the nest basic attack must deal 125 magic damage to 3 enemies.
Item Passive Skill-Acticate: Each time Typhoon is cast, one's movement speed willl be increased 5% for a short time.
Explaination >> This item increase Karrie attack speed , movement speed and critical chance. It also increase Frenzy (Scrlet Phanton passive skill) trigger rate.
6)Blade of Despair: +130 Physical Attack, +25% Attack Speed, +10% Critical Strike Chance
Item Passive Skill-Despair: Deal extra 10% damage to enemy hero in any abnormal status
Explaination >> This item greatly boots Karrie physical attack, attack speed and critical chances. It also increase Frenzy (Scrlet Phanton passive skill) trigger rate.

FINAL TIP:
Like others marksman, Karrie is a fragile hero. Watch out those burst damage damage hero like Aurora, Eudora which can instant kill Karrie with their combo skill. Stay alert and don't get killed. Karrie is a damage dealer, so enemy team will try to kill Karrie 1st. Losing a damage dealer will greatly reduce team attack power.
Always get your teammate to cover and backup you.
Nice guide it was easy to read.At the moment I'm using set 2 because in my opinion,AS boots are better than the movement speed boots since Karrie already has a 2s dash skill.
