Introduction
Whether you found out through videos, livestreams, threads, or by simply doing it yourself, I think most people know by now that roaming/ganking is important and can really give your team an advantage if done right. Personally, it has become quite the habit for me myself, so this really did prove to be a challenge. Especially since I am that one person that stupidly jumps in to try and save a teammate even though it is certain death. I've seen a lot of videos or discussions on using troll builds or not building any items, so I figured it was time for something new now. Anyway, if you are interested, then keep on reading.
Challenge
The challenge is pretty simple. You start a match, choose a lane, and stay in that lane throughout the entire match. Of course, recalling is permitted at any time as long as you head back to the lane you had chose at the beginning of the match. I'd recommend muting the chat before you start the challenge if you are easily offended by insults and toxicity.
Rules
• Stay in your chosen lane at ALL times. NO leaving your lane.
• As stated above; no leaving your lane even if a team fight breaks out in another lane or even in the jungle next to you.
• NO jungling. Jungling requires you to leave your lane. No-go.
• Obviously, no brawl. Any other mode is acceptable.
Permitted
• If an enemy is in the jungle and you can hit them from lane, you are allowed to do so.
• Global ultimates are permitted.
• Hiding in the brush at the top corner, bottom corner, and around middle lane is allowed.
• Any lane is acceptable.
• Any hero is acceptable.
Optional
(This is just for people that find the challenge too easy and want to make it a bit harder)
• No recalling.
• No entering the brush.
________________________________________________________________________
The challenge is obviously going to be easier for some people than it is for others. I personally had no problem with not roaming. The part that became a problem for me was breaking the habit of jungling right after laning and I'd constantly have to remind myself not to do it. The first time I had ran to jungle and took the blue buff before I even realized that I had messed up. It is also going to depend on luck. Whether you get put up against a bad team that is going to let you push and feed off of them all the way to base, or a good team that is going to gank the hell out of you over, and over, and over. It will also depend on your teammates. They may keep initiating team fights every two minutes while you are stuck in lane unable to help. Anyway, you guys can comment down below with an explanation or video on how it went. Did you get ganked repeatedly? Which hero did you use? Did it take you a few tries to break the habit of roaming or jungling? Was the challenge actually stupid and way too easy to do? If you are unsure of any of the rules, just ask.
